These 76ers fans really wanted a Stephen Curry autograph, so they went fishing for one.

These days it’s really hard to get an autograph from Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry. Now that he’s maybe the most recognizable player in the NBA, you’re not exactly going to bump into him alone on the street and expect to get an autograph.

So, with that being the case, you have to get a little creative if you want to get the signature of the best player in the NBA. Well, kudos go right out to the Philadelphia 76ers  fans that you’re about to see, because they took creativity to a whole new level.

The Warriors and Curry are taking on the Sixers on Saturday, and Friday night they arrived for practice. Well, when they did, these fans were ready to get that autograph and they literally went fishing for one.

Now that’s just awesome, and if anyone has ever deserved an autograph, it’s these fine folks. It takes a bit of work to put something like this together and they pulled it off to perfection. Also, it was pretty neat how Curry seemed amused by this as well. He even caught the action on his own phone so he could save it.

But now, everywhere he goes, people are going to be hanging things from strings for him, so who knows what this has opened up.
