FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-January 30
High Value SF
Trevor Ariza-Houston Rockets (5,700): The Rockets new-look rotation has given Ariza more playing time as Houston goes more to small ball lineups. Ariza has at least 37 minutes in six of his last seven games, and he has been producing nice numbers with at least 29 fantasy points in four of his last five games including two games with at least 40 fantasy points. He will be excited to see his former team come to Houston tonight since the Wizards have allowed more fantasy points to opposing SF than any other team in the NBA. Ariza was forced to miss the Rockets first game against Washington this season, but he will be a key player tonight and should find success against the Wizards struggling defense. ∗∗∗∗
Alonzo Gee-New Orleans Pelicans (4,100): Gee has been a solid contributor for the Pelicans and has at least 21 fantasy points in each of his last four games. He had ten points, two rebounds, and five steals on Thursday against the Kings after five points, ten boards, and two steals the night before. He can produce in a variety of categories, but he has been consistent enough to earn good playing time lately and should continue to put together solid lines as he takes on the Nets tonight.∗∗∗
Corey Brewer-Houston Rockets (3,600): For now it looks like the Rockets will stick with Brewer in their starting lineup and go small-ball. However, his production is still a little inconsistent since Houston can go so many directions once they go to the bench. Last night, Brewer had 17 points and 21.9 fantasy points against the Thunder, and his potential makes him the best cheap play even though he is no guarantee tonight against the Wizards. ∗∗
