PG—Marcus Smart ($5,200)

As the Boston Celtics have been looking to make a strong push in the Eastern Conference in the second half of the regular season, second-year point guard Marcus Smart is starting to step up on a consistent basis for the Cs to make that charge. As the Celtics try to continue gaining ground on the top of the East standings on Sunday with a matchup against the Orlando Magic, I like Smart to have a big night on the hardwood.

Over the course of his last four games, Smart has been tearing it up in a major way coming off of the bench for the Celtics. The youngster has put up at least 32.5 fantasy points in DraftKings scoring in three out of his last four games. Though the one game he wasn’t at that level saw him only put up 17 fantasy points, that he’s been consistently putting up over 30 points is quite promising.

Moreover, the Magic have struggled in a major way against opposing point guards this season, ranking 26th in the NBA in terms of fantasy points conceded at the position. Though that means Isaiah Thomas could also have a big game, I like what that means for Smart as well.
