High Salary C

Karl-Anthony Towns-Minnesota Timberwolves (8,400): So much for the rookie wall… Towns has been exceptional this month and has been especially good lately with at least 45 fantasy points in four of his last five games.  He had 32 points and 12 rebounds against the Jazz on Friday and even Rudy Gobert couldn’t slow him down.  Tonight, Towns is in a great matchup against the Blazers who allow the ninth-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing centers.  Towns had 27 points and 12 boards when these teams last met and given his recent momentum it’s easy to see him approaching and exceeding those numbers tonight.

Al Horford-Atlanta Hawks (7,500): Horford has put up at least 31 fantasy points in four of his last five games and is around a double-double on most nights although he hasn’t actually had one recently.  Tonight, Horford could dodge Hassan Whiteside who is questionable with an oblique injury.  If Whiteside is out, Horford has a very favorable matchup down low against Miami. He averaged 15 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists in their two earlier meetings this year, and he could be asked to pick up the scoring if Paul Millsap (probable-ankle) is at less than 100%.

Zaza Pachulia-Dallas Mavericks (6,300): Zaza returned from injury on Friday against the Nets and put up 16 points and added 12 boards and three assists on his way to 31.9 fantasy points. He was a regular double-double threat before the injury and returns to that now that he’s back to 100%. PAchulia should be able to have another solid stat line tonight against the struggling Suns.∗∗
