High Value C

Mason Plumlee-Portland Trail Blazers (5,900): While still trapped in a rotation that holds him under 30 minutes most nights, Plumlee has been putting together some good games lately including Friday’s game against Charlotte. In that contests, Plumlee had 13 points, 12 boards, five assists, two blocks, and two steals for a total of 39.9 fantasy points. He has been over 33 fantasy points in four of his last five games, and he could be set up for a huge second half of the season if he can secure some extra minutes on a regular basis.

Gorgui Dieng-Minnesota Timberwolves (5,400): Dieng has been excellent at PF the last few games filling in for Kevin Garnett alongside Karl-Anthony Towns.  Dieng has scored 20+ points in each of his last two games with at least nine rebounds in each contest as well .  He has at least 22 fantasy points in six of his last seven games but has taken his production to the next level with 36.3 fantasy points and 45 fantasy points in his last two contests.  Dieng will likely start again tonight with Garnett listed as doubtful, so give him a look if you have to spend under 6K at center. No KG-

Spencer Hawes-Charlotte Hornets (4,000): With Cody Zeller and Al Jefferson still out, Hawes will get the start tonight against the Lakers who have allowed the second-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing centers. Hawes managed 19 fantasy points on Friday in Portland and has at least that many fantasy points in four of his last five games. Against LA, I think he’ll end up with over 20 fantasy points making him a good value at just 4K. ∗∗
