High Value SF

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist-Charlotte Hornets (5,500): MKG just made his season debut on Friday against the Blazers playing 34 minutes and finishing with 13 points, seven boards and 20.9 fantasy points. Kidd-Gilchrist has a ton of upside and should bet playing time with Batum out tonight, but he’s risky since he is still so closely removed from such a significant injury and layoff.

Evan Turner-Boston Celtics (5,300): Turner has been a big part of Boston’s bench unit and their success over the last few weeks.  Turner has at least 20 fantasy points in six straight games and has scored in double-digits in each of those contests.  He has at least 28 fantasy points in each of his last three teams and is always a multi-category threat.  On Friday against the Magic who he faces again tonight, Turner finished with 15 points, eight assists, two boards, and two steals for 30.4 fantasy points.

P.J. Tucker-Phoenix Suns (5,000): Tucker has been one of the most consistent value plays lately and has at least 25 fantasy points in five of his last six games for Phoenix with the one exception being a game where he played just six minutes before leaving with an injury.  Tucker had 32 fantasy points against the Knicks on Friday on one of his typical well-balanced lines totaling nine points, ten boards, four assists, two blocks, and 32 fantasy points. He’s one of the few reliable contributors for Phoenix and should keep getting over 30 minutes of playing time a game.

Shabazz Muhammad-Minnesota Timberwolves (4,100): Muhammad has scored double-digit points in eight straight contests with at least 20 fantasy points in four of those games.  He has earned enough time in the Minnesota rotation to be a solid cheap play tonight against the Blazers although his non-scoring numbers sometimes leave much to be desired.
