PG—Archie Goodwin ($4,800)

The Phoenix Suns have been getting eaten alive by injuries as of late and their backcourt has taken the bulk of the fall as of late with injuries to the starters and even several of the backups. However, this has allowed Archie Goodwin to really step in as a result of an increased workload. With the Suns still playing short-handed as they face the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday night, Goodwin should again be able to continue playing at a high level and producing as a DFS option.

Goodwin has trailed off a bit over his last two games as the guard has put up 20.9 and 11 fantasy points in FanDuel scoring in those last two outings. However, in the three games prior, his low total was a solid 26.6 fantasy points in addition to two games where he put up over 35 fantasy points. He has shown the ability to both score at a high level and facilitate the Suns offense as one of the primary guards in the rotation.

Though the Mavericks have been solid all season, they haven’t defended opposing guards particularly well on a consistent basis. As a result, I like Goodwin to get back to form and ultimately have a nice day on the hardwood on Sunday night.
