High Value PG

Norris Cole-New Orleans Pelicans (5,700): Cole’s numbers have been up and down lately, but his playing time seems to be locked in.  He has played at least 30 minutes in four of his last five games and has a pair of games with over 30 fantasy points during that span. Last Thursday against the Kings, Cole had 17 points, ten assists, and seven rebounds for an impressive 43.25 fantasy points. He probably won’t approach those numbers on a regular basis, but the upside is definitely there for the Pelicans guard who has filled in nicely for Tyreke Evans. No Evans-∗ With Evans-

Jeff Teague-Atlanta Hawks (5,500): Teague didn’t have a great January and it appears the Hawks are trying to move him out of the way of Dennis Schroeder who they think can be their PG of the future.  Teague has been getting playing time for now, though, whether as a showcase for a trade or to give him a chance to cement his hold on the top spot for Atlanta.  He has played pretty well lately with at least 29 fantasy points in three of his last four games including 15 points, six assists, two steals, and a block last night against the Heat before fouling out with 29 fantasy points.  He’s risky since his playing time has fluctuated recently but I like his matchup against the Mavs tonight. ∗∗

Cory Joseph-Toronto Raptors (3,900): Joseph continues to be one of the first players off the Raptors bench most nights and has been contributing nice numbers lately with four straight games in double-digit scoring and over 21 fantasy points. In a good matchup against the Nuggets tonight, look for Joseph to produce good numbers again making him the best cheap play of the night at PG.
