FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-February 1
High Value C
Nikola Jokic-Denver Nuggets (5,700): Jokic has been excellent lately with at least 15 points in four of his last five games and over 35 fantasy points in each of those games as a result of good rebounding and defensive numbers. Jokic is still one of many options for the Nuggets in the middle, but the should have earned some extra run in the middle as a result of his strong recent play. Jokic is very under-priced given his recent production, but he still isn’t a lock since Jusuf Nurkic is still lurking to steal some playing time in the coming weeks. ∗∗∗∗
Jordan Hill-Indiana Pacers (4,500): Hill had a monster game on Saturday finishing with 20 points, seven rebounds, six blocks, and three assists for a humungous 43.9 fantasy points. He got the start in place of Ian Mahinmi on Saturday, and he has excelled when given extra minutes. If Mahinmi is out tonight, Hill will be a great value play. No Mahinmi-∗∗∗∗∗ With Mahinmi-∗∗
Aron Baynes-Detroit Pistons (3,900): Baynes could get extra playing time tonight with Ersan Ilyasova dealing with a thigh injury. Baynes has shown he can produce when given time and has at least 20 fantasy points in five of his last nine games. ∗∗
Omer Asik-New Orleans Pelicans (3,900): Asik has at least 24 fantasy points in each of his last two games and has over 21 fantasy points in five of his last ten. He could be in a good matchup tonight if Marc Gasol is out, but Gasol is a good enough defender that Asik should be avoided if Gasol is able to go. No Gasol-∗∗∗ With Gasol-no stars.
