FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-February 1
High Salary SG
DeMar DeRozan-Toronto Raptors (8,200): DeRozan is the third member of the Toronto backcourt in my FanDuel daily picks for today, and its easy to see why when you realize that the Nuggets also allow the seventh-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SG. DeRozan has been rolling lately with 26 points or more in five of his last seven games. He usually chips in a few rebounds and a few assists along with a steal or two which has resulted in over 36 fantasy points in each of those five games. He should be poised for a solid night tonight, and the Raptors will rely on his high-level scoring to help them start their road trip off right with a win in the Mile High City. ∗∗∗
Khris Middleton-Milwaukee Bucks (7,300): Middleton had a down game on Friday against Miami finishing with just nine points and seven rebounds to get to 17.4 fantasy points. It was the second game of a back-to-back and his third game in four nights, but overall it was a down night for one of January’s breakout stars. Middleton had at least 30 fantasy points in each of his previous nine games with six games over 35 fantasy points during that span. Tonight against the Kings he should be lined up for a major bounce back performance since Sacramento allows the third-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SG. ∗∗∗∗∗
Monta Ellis-Indiana Pacers (7,100): Ellis has posted back-t0-back games with over 50 fantasy points after leading the Pacers to an overtime win over Denver with 32 points, nine rebounds, six assists, and three steals. Paul George’s struggles have allowed Ellis to emerge as a top scoring threat and he now has at least 28 fantasy points in seven of his last eight games. Tonight, Ellis will have the tough task of taking on the Cavs, but he has been so red-hot that you can definitely overlook the matchup and go with Ellis tonight. ∗∗∗∗
