High Value SF

Jeff Green-Memphis Grizzlies (5,500): Green has a reputation fro running hot and cold, but lately he’s been straight fire with three straight games with over 20 points.  He had 29 points against the Kings on Saturday and added three steals and two rebounds to get to 37.9 fantasy points. He had an even bigger final line last week against the Magic when he posted 30 points and eight rebounds on his way to 45.1 fantasy points. Tonight, he’ll look to keep his momentum rolling against the Pelicans.  The Grizz faced New Orleans just a couple of weeks ago and Green finished with 16 points, six rebounds, two steals, and two assists for a total of 31.2 fantasy points. The only reason I’m not giving Green five stars is that almost all of his big games lately have come at home, but tonight’s contest is on the road. However, he still has a ton of upside for a player under 6K.

Marcus Morris-Detroit Pistons (5,100): Morris has scored in double figures in eight of his last ten games and has averaged 13.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and over 35 minutes over that time frame.  Morris has at least 20 fantasy points in four of his last five games and seven of his last nine.  He is a little less streaky than Green, but he doesn’t come into tonight’s matchup with Brooklyn on quite as much of a roll as Uncle Jeff either.

Alonzo Gee-New Orleans Pelicans (4,000): Gee and the Pelicans take on the Green and the Grizzlies in the Big Easy tonight.  Even though he didn’t produce much in his last game (13.4 fantasy points) he played 39 minutes further showing that he has solidified his place in the Pelicans rotation.  Gee had at least 21 fantasy points in four straight games before his letdown on Saturday, and I think he’ll be able to bounce back if he continues to get so much playing time even though he isn’t one of the first offensive options in New Orleans.

Kyle Anderson-San Antonio Spurs (3,600): The Spurs host Orlando tonight, and my guess is that the backups will get plenty of run against the Magic who snapped their eight-game losing streak last night but probably don’t have the firepower to mess with the Spurs at home.  If the subs get more run, Anderson could end up being a nice value play.  He has at least 17 fantasy points in three of his last five games and has put up two 22-fantasy-point performances during that time. He’s a dice-roll, but he’s the best ultra-cheap SF tonight on FanDuel.
