High Salary PF

Kevin Love-Cleveland Cavaliers (7,600): Love has been playing well for new head coach Tyronn Lue and has scored at least 21 points in each of his last there games.  He has at least 39 fantasy points in each of those games which include a pair of double-doubles.  He had a big game even in a tough matchup on Saturday against the Spurs, so he should be able to put together a good game tonight against the Pacers too even though Indiana has been starting more size lately with the emergence of Myles Turner.∗∗∗

Derrick Favors-Utah Jazz (7,200): Favors missed most of January with a bad back, but he looked good in his last game of the month on Friday scoring 20 points to go with nine boards, a block, and an assist on his way to 33.3 fantasy points. Favors has a good matchup tonight against the Bulls in Utah where he always seems to put together his best games.  One of the most encouraging things about Friday’s game was that he played 35 minutes.  If he can stay healthy, Favors should be set up for a good game tonight and a big second half of the season as he slides back into his PF role next to Rudy Gobert who also has dealt with injuries in the early going this year.

Ryan Anderson-New Orleans Pelicans (6,500): Anthony Davis or no Anthony Davis, Ryan Anderson has been showing he can produce fantasy points in a hurry when he gets time on the floor for the Pelicans.  He has scored at least 22 points in four straight games and always adds solid rebounds and assists as well.  He has 32 fantasy points or more in four straight, and he should be able to continue his run tonight against the small-balling Grizzlies.

Kenneth Faried-Denver Nuggets (6,200): If you’d rather go with a traditional double-double-type forward instead of a stretch-four shooter, Faried is a nice option at just over 6K since he had been playing well lately for Denver.  He had his fourth double-double in his last six games on Saturday in Indiana finishing with 16 points and 12 rebounds. He finished that contest with 29.4 fantasy points and has at least 29 fantasy points in four of his last six. As long as he can stay healthy and get his usual minutes, Faried should be a nice bargain at this price tonight against the Raptors.
