Mavericks spoof Zoolander with Chandler Parsons, Dirk Nowitzki (Video)

The Dallas Mavericks reached the peak of comedy again with a Zoolander spoof featuring Chandler Parsons and Dirk Nowitzki

The Dallas Mavericks have long been renowned for the creativity of their media department, seemingly always knowing how to make their fans laugh with their video packages. In January 2016, they released a video of Dirk Nowitzki impersonating Donald Trump that was an instant classic, but they may have yet another gem on their hands with their latest creation.

On Monday, the Mavericks uploaded a spoof of the movie Zoolander featuring Chandler Parsons playing the role of the titular character, Dirk playing the role of Hansel, and Zaza Pachulia coming as the villainous mastermind MuZatu (and Wesley Matthews making a cameo in the Billy Zane role). The results are absolutely hysterical:

“Show Your Blue Steel” should be everyone’s mantra, Mavericks fan or not, simply because of this video. It’s not hard to imagine where they came up with the idea with Zoolander 2 set to be released soon, but that doesn’t make the final product any less genius or comical.

The Mavericks are remaining competitive in the Western Conference and playing a step above the preseason expectations of many people around the league. Even if they fall off dramatically in terms of the standings, though, they’ve already won the 2015-16 season when it comes to video packages.
