5. Malcolm Pridgeon, 4-star OT

Ohio State has been putting in some serious work to land one of the top junior college transfer players in the country, Malcolm Pridgeon. Ohio State already has four-star Michael Jordan and three-star Gavin Cupp committed for the 2016 class at the offensive tackle position, but why not add a third in Pridgeon.

Offensive coordinator Ed Warinner has been in to visit Pridgeon two times in the last two weeks and he took his official visit to Columbus on Jan. 30. That makes three instances where Ohio State made contact with the JUCO star and no other college reportedly visited or scheduled an official with Pridgeon.

Urban Meyer loves to snag the top talent in the nation at every position, and no one is checking in on the JUCO transfer more than his staff.

Pridgeon stands 6-foot-8 and weighs 303 pounds. He’s one heck of a prospect and could even crack the rotation early on. Jamarco Jones is a junior at left tackle and Pridgeon could be groomed to take his place when he graduates, or leaves.
