PG—Zach LaVine ($5,300)

Though the Minnesota Timberwolves have largely performed as you would expect a young team that hasn’t quite made the leap would so far this season, that hasn’t limited the fantasy value present throughout the roster. One of the more interesting players that has emerged on the Minnesota roster, though, is second-year guard Zach LaVine who is an interesting option on Tuesday against the Los Angeles Lakers.

LaVine has enjoyed a solid stretch for the Wolves as of late as the reserve guard has put up 20.5 fantasy points or more in DraftKings scoring. Included over that five-game stretch was two games of 37.5 fantasy points or better. He’s been scoring quite well over this stretch and, in the right matchup, he can fill up the box score elsewhere as well and have tremendous value in DFS play overall.

It’s no secret that the Lakers are almost wholly abysmal on the defensive end of the floor, specifically in terms of defending opposing guards. While LaVine may not be in the starting lineup for the Timberwolves, he does play a sizeable role and will have his chances against the paltry Los Angeles defense and should wind up with a nice showing in a fantasy capacity when all is said and done on Tuesday night.
