High Salary PF

Draymond Green-Golden State Warriors (9,000): After admitting he was chasing a triple-double against the Sixers on Saturday and apologizing to his teammates, Green went out and got a triple-double against the Knicks with 20 points, ten boards, and ten assists on his way to a huge 59 fantasy points. I expect the Warriors and Wizards to score a ton of points tonight, and look for Green to continue his big-time production.  Green has at least 40 fantasy points in four of his last seven games and the only real risk in rolling with Draymond is that he plays fewer minutes due to a blowout.

Kevin Love-Cleveland Cavaliers (7,600): The Hornets are lacking in size up front with Al Jefferson out and Cody Zeller questionable.  Love could be catching them at a great time and is on quite a roll of his own coming in with at least 19 points in each of his last four games and at least 40 fantasy points in each of those contests.  He is looking the best he has since joining the Cavs and seems to be fitting right in to whatever new coach Tyronn Lue is running on offense.

LaMarcus Aldridge-San Antonio Spurs (7,000): Aldridge has alternated bad games with good games in his last four contests stringing together 12.75 fantasy points, 45.5 fantasy points, 17.5 fantasy points, and 42.5 fantasy points. His upside is undeniable and he’s definitely adjusting to the Spurs system.  One common denominator in his two good games is that both contests were at home which is where he’ll face the Pelicans tonight.  New Orleans has a good interior defense when it comes to getting blocks, but they do struggle to limit opposing big men in fantasy points. Look for LaMarcus to bring his best tonight against the Pelicans.

Derrick Favors-Utah Jazz (6,900): Favors is still a little risky at this price point because a lot of his almost-7K is strictly on his reputation not on current form.  He hasn’t yet got to 35 fantasy points in his four games back from injury, but he has played over 35 minutes in each of his last two games.  He’s in a great matchup tonight, though, to have a breakthrough since the Nuggets allow the second-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing PF and have struggled even more recently. I could easily see Favors going for 20 and ten with a few blocks and getting to over 35 fantasy points tonight although there is risk since he hasn’t done that yet this calendar year.
