High Salary C

Steven Stamkos-Tampa Bay Lightning ($7,200): Stamkos hasn’t performed up to his normal standards this season, but he still has 38 points though 51 games. He’s been playing better as of late, with seven points in his last seven games. He scored a goal in his last game out has the ability to be a top fantasy producer on most nights. The matchup with Detroit will be tough, as the Red Wings are ranked third against centers, but with limited options, Stamkos is a good choice tonight.

Jack Eichel-Buffalo Sabres ($5,600): Eichel isn’t normally considered a high salary player, which means that you are getting a great value by using him at center tonight. The rookie was playing some great hockey before the All-Star break and enters tonight with a two-game point streak. He dished out two assists on January 25 and followed it up with two goals on January 26. With seven points in his last five games and a very favorable matchup with Montreal, Eichel should be considered a top target at center.

High Value C

Elias Lindholm-Carolina Hurricanes ($3,900): Lindholm has been streaky this season and is currently on one of his hot streaks. In the final two games before the All-Star break, Lindholm had a goal and an assist and will look to keep it going tonight against Calgary. The Flames are ranked 24th in fantasy points allowed to opposing centers, making Lindholm a great pick as a cheap source of production this evening.

Darren Helm-Detroit Red Wings ($3,000): Helm hasn’t been very relevant in fantasy hockey this season, as he has just four goals and nine assists through 45 games. However, he’s riding a two-game point streak and could make for a solid sleeper pick tonight. With only six teams in action, it will be important to find hidden sources of fantasy production, and Helm could be just that.
