High Salary D

Mark Giordano-Calgary Flames ($6,700): Giordano has continued to be one of the better fantasy defenseman options available this season. He scored his 11th goal of the season his last time out and has 14 points in his last 15 games. Although his salary has risen steadily, he’s still very valuable and is a must-start each night. Take Giordano tonight and enjoy the production.

P.K. Subban-Montreal Canadiens ($6,300): Subban picked up an assist last night, giving him a three-game point streak and five points over that span. After starting slow, Subban has really come on as of late. He’s got 13 points in the last 15 games and will look to keep rolling against Buffalo tonight. Subban has proven to be productive over the last month or so and makes for a great selection for your lineup.

High Value D

Anton Stralman-Tampa Bay Lightning ($5,000): Stralman has continued his strong play and added an assist during his last game on January 27. He’s up to 18 assists and six goals and has an average of 2.5 fantasy points a game. He’s got four points over the last six games and goes up against Detroit tonight, the 23rd-ranked team in points allowed to fantasy defensemen.

Danny DeKeyser-Detroit Red Wings ($3,700): DeKeyser isn’t a household name in the fantasy hockey world, but he’s played himself into fantasy relevancy over the last few games. He’s got a three-game point streak going with a goal in each of the last two games. He’s got four points over the last six games, and has earned an average of four fantasy points per game over the last two games. DeKeyser is an excellent value pick for your lineup tonight.
