Reggie Jackson came up with a clutch 3-pointer to put the game on ice.

After the Pistons jumped out to an early halftime lead, they had to stave off a furious comeback attempt by the Knicks. However, they held on for the win as Reggie Jackson sunk the final shot:

It was a great game to watch between two teams that have played better than expected. While Andre Drummond is unquestionably the heartbeat of the Pistons, Reggie Jackson has been a key contributor as well. He finished the game with 21 points, none bigger than that last 3-pointer.

Jackson came into the season having signed a fresh 5-year contract with the team, and so far he has paid dividends. He is averaging 19.1 points per game this season, which is by far his highest total so far. After four and a half seasons in Oklahoma City, he has seemingly re-invented himself in Detroit after leaving the shadow of Durant and Westbrook. Now he and Drummond have become one of the funnest duos in the league to watch.

This win in particular was a big one, as it helped the Pistons distance themselves from the non-playoff teams. The last time they made the playoffs was 2009, but this team has a good chance to get in this year and give their first round opponent a hard time.
