High Salary C

DeAndre Jordan-Los Angeles Clippers (7,900): If you don’t want to spend on Boogie or are looking to go with a more balanced attack, Jordan is a strong alternative who is playing well while helping to pick up some of Blake Griffin’s production.  Jordan has at least 15 rebounds in five straight games and has posted double-doubles of 17-20 and 18-15 in his last two games finishing with 59 fantasy points and 47.75 fantasy points. He has at least 39 fantasy points in four of his last five games, and he’s in a good matchup against the Magic and Nikola Vucevic tonight.

Nikola Vucevic-Orlando Magic (7,300): Vucevic has been pretty solid lately even though the Magic have been struggling.  He has at least 39 fantasy points in five of his last seven.  He has eight double-doubles in his last ten games and has been playing 35+ minutes on a regular basis in coach Scott Skiles shortened rotation.  Although Jordan usually gets a ton of rebounds, opposing centers also typically end up with good numbers and are posting the seventh-most fantasy points in the NBA against the Clippers.

Marcin Gortat-Washington Wizards (6,800): Gortat has only produced 30 fantasy points twice in his last six games, but he has not posted any games under 20 fantasy points during that span.  He should be able to get over 30 tonight against the 76ers who have given up more fantasy points to opposing centers than any other team in the NBA this season.  Gortat is a solid pick tonight who has a good chance at a double-double against the Sixers still young and mix-and-match front line.

Myles Turner-Indiana Pacers (6,500): Turner has been excellent for the Pacers lately although he has waiting until the second half to get things going his last couple of games.  He still has at least 20 fantasy points in each of his last nine teams with at least 30 fantasy points in five of his last seven.  Tonight, the Pacers have already ruled out Ian Mahinmi so Turner will get plenty of time against the front line of the Hawks who rank in the middle of the NBA against opposing big men.  Turner has a world of upside and has had a great nine-game breakout, so lets see if he can continue to return good value tonight against the Hawks.
