DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-February 5
High Value SF
Jeff Green-Memphis Grizzlies (5,700): Uncle Jeff has been rolling lately with four straight games of over 20 points and over 25 fantasy points. He has three games over 37 fantasy points in those four contests, and he should be in a good matchup to attack the Knicks who were beaten last night by Stanley Johnson of the Pistons. Green is known for being a little bit streaky, but he’s been hot lately so keep on rolling him out there until he cools off since no other player in his price range is a better bet to bring in 35+. Matt Barnes is questionable for tonight, and if he’s out Green will pick up even more minutes and have even more offensive responsibility. No Barnes-∗∗∗∗∗ With Barnes-∗∗∗∗
Aaron Gordon-Orlando Magic (5,600): Gordon had over 22 fantasy points in six straight games after joining the starting lineup for the Magic, but he struggled in OKC on Wednesday and only managed 11 fantasy points on two points and six rebounds. He should be able to bounce back tonight against the Clippers who don’t have Blake Griffin and sometimes struggle with opposing PF which is where Gordon has been playing. ∗∗∗
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist-Charlotte Hornets (5,200): MKG had his second straight double-double on Wednesday against the Cavs finishing with 11 points and 13 rebounds for a total of 28.25 fantasy points. He had an even better stat line against the Lakers when he posted 19 points and 12 boards in just 28 minutes for a total of 42.5 fantasy points. Tonight, he’ll take on the Heat and the Hornets may have him, Nicolas Batum, and Kemba Walker together for the first time this season which should allow Kidd-Gilchrist to play his solid multi-category contributor role against Miami tonight. ∗∗∗∗
Luol Deng-Miami Heat (4,900): Deng has steady been producing solid numbers for Miami with at least 15 points in each of his last four games and over 23 fantasy points in each of his last five. He isn’t likely to go off with a monster performance, but he has been incredibly steady lately. ∗∗∗
Justise Winslow-Miami Heat (4,300): Deng’s teammate Justise Winslow has also been productive although he did have a down games on Wednesday. Winslow finished that game with just 15.5 fantasy points even though hd played 30 minutes in Dallas. He has played at least 30 minutes one each of his last eight games with at least 20 fantasy points in six of those eight contests which is enough to make him the best option in the 4,000’s tonight. ∗∗∗
Kyle Anderson-San Antonio Spurs (3,200): There aren’t many cheap plays at SF tonight, but Anderson is worth a look especially with minutes available in the wake of Manu’s injury. Anderson has at least 17 fantasy points in four of his last seven games and is a part of the Spurs rotation, but his production does vary depending on game situation and the performance of other players in the rotation. ∗∗
