High Salary PF

DeMarcus Cousins-Sacramento Kings (11,300): “Boogie” has been excellent in 2016 and finished January averaging 31.5 points, 12.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.3 blocks, and 1.6 assists. He has at least 58 fantasy points in six of his last seven games not counting the game he had to leave early with an ankle injury.  After missing Monday’s game against Milwaukee, Cousins played 30 minutes against the Bulls on Wednesday and looked like he didn’t miss a beat scoring 30 points to go with 11 boards and finishing with 58.25 fantasy points. Cousins should find plenty of opportunity tonight against the Nets who allow the fourth-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing centers and have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing PF over their last five games.  If you are spending big, Boogie is the way to go especially in such a tasty matchup.

Kevin Love-Cleveland Cavaliers (7,800): Love has been very good since Tyronn Lue took over as coach of the Cavs.  Love has at least 38 fantasy points in each of his last five games and has three double-doubles in that span.  He had 20 points, eight boards, and five assists in his first game against the Celtics this year, and he should be able to put together another good line tonight since Boston allows the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing PF. Love is definitely one of the best PF on the board tonight although there are a few other really nice plays in the 7K’s.

LaMarcus Aldridge-San Antonio Spurs (7,100): While Tim Duncan has been sidelined, Aldridge has stepped up for the Spurs and has posted at least 40 fantasy points in three of his last four games.  He had a season-high 36 points on Wednesday in New Orleans adding in six rebounds and three blocks for 52 fantasy points. Aldridge has a ton of upside tonight as he takes on Dirk and the Mavs in his hometown of Dallas tonight and he has averaged 20.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, an assist, and a block in the Spurs’ two previous games this season against their in-state rivals.

Derrick Favors-Utah Jazz (7,000): Favors did indeed have over 35 fantasy points on Wednesday against Denver which I predicted here in my DraftKings daily picks.  He finished with a solid 16 points and 11 rebounds while adding an impressive six blocks as well.  He now has ten total blocked shots in his last two games and has posted at least 28 fantasy points in each of his lsat three.  Favors is in a great matchup tonight against the Bucks who allow the fourth-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing PF, so look for him to put together another good line tonight since he’s showing he’s 100% healthy again.

Thaddeus Young-Brooklyn Nets (6,200): One of the few bright spots for the Nets this season has been Thaddeus Young who has played extremely well during several stretches this season.  He has at least 30 fantasy points in three of his last four games and is coming off a nice 16-point, 14-rebound double-double which he posted on Wednesday against the Pacers.  Tonight, he’ll match up against the Kings who have has suspect interior defense despite the A+ production they get on a nightly basis from Boogie Cousins on offense.
