High Value SG

Rodney Hood-Utah Jazz (5,900): Hood scored 23 points last night against the Bucks in 41 minutes while adding there rebounds and two steals for a total of 33.25 fantasy points. He has at least 19 points and 26 fantasy points in five of his last six games and the Suns have allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing SGs. Hood’s non-scoring contribution sometimes come and go, but he’s a pretty good pick based on matchup and recent form tonight.

Archie Goodwin-Phoenix Suns (5,900):  Goodwin has been up and down in his time at the point for Phoenix while starting in place of the injured Brandon Knight, but has managed at least 25 fantasy points in five of his eight starts including 22 points and seven assists on Thursday against the Rockets after posting 18 points and 12 assists against the Raptors on Tuesday in interim coach Earl Watson’s debut. Goodwin has put up some duds, but he also offers great upside at just under 6K.

E’Twaun Moore-Chicago Bulls (4,500): Moore played 31 minutes last night in Denver and has played over 30 minutes in four of the Bulls last five games.  He’ll again be asked to pick up the slack for Jimmy Butler and Nikola Mirotic tonight as the Bulls continue to deal with multiple injuries.  Moore showed he can go off with 24 points and 41.75 fantasy points against the Kings but only managed 13.75 fantasy points last night against the Nuggets last night. Time on the floor won’t be an issue for Moore, it just depends on if he can get his shot dropping tonight against the Timberwolves.

Bryce Dejean-Jones-New Orleans Pelicans (4,500):  With Tyreke Evans still probably out tonight, Bryce Dejean-Jones will likely get another start for New Orleans as he looks to build on his big game from Thursday against LA. “Hot Mustard” finished with 17 points, nine rebounds, two steals, and an assist on his way to 33.75 fantasy points in 43 minutes.  Dejean-Jones has at least 20 fantasy points in four of his last five games, and if he starts again tonight he’ll be a nice cheap option. No Evans-∗∗

Wayne Ellington-Brooklyn Nets (4,200): Ellington has been a steady starter for the Nets lately and has at least 17 fantasy points in seven straight games. His high water mark during that time was only 25.25, so he doesn’t have a ton of upside, but he is the cheap option I’d go with if you can’t get enough room for Dejean-Jones or Moore.
