High Salary SF

Kevin Durant-Oklahoma City Thunder (10,500): If you want to get a second big star in tonight’s main game at a spot besides PG, Durant is a good option although he’ll probably have to deal with Draymond Green’s defense. Durant hasn’t been slowed by such of anything lately, though, having scored at least 20 points in every game since mid-November.  Durant has at least 50 fantasy points in five of his last nine games and four of his last six.  He also had a big night on Wednesday hitting the game-winner against Orlando and totaling 37 points, five boards, five assists, three blocks, and two steals.  He will need to be at his best for the Thunder to keep up with Golden State as they look to prove their a legitimate threat to the Warriors and Spurs in the West.

Kawhi Leonard-San Antonio Spurs (7,800): Leonard has at least 20 points in three of his last four games and seems to be re-discovering his groove.  He would have had a much bigger game last night than his 27 fantasy points if the Mavericks hadn’t imploded and let eh spurs stars sit for the whole fourth quarter.  Tonight, Kawhi will take on Kobe and the Lakers, and I think he’s a solid pick for 30+ fantasy points with the potential for much more if the game is competitive throughout.

Gordon Hayward-Utah Jazz (7,400): Hayward under-performed last night against the Bucks finishing with 25.75 fantasy points on 18 points, five rebounds, and two assists. He has been held under 26 fantasy points for three of his last four games, but he did go off for 55 fantasy points in the other of those four games.  He’s in a great matchup tonight against the Suns who have allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing SF this season and the third-most fantasy points to opposing SF over his last five games.  Hayward should be able to take it to the Suns tonight as he looks to bounce back from a couple under-whelming games.

Nicolas Batum-Charlotte Hornets (6,300): Batum thrived last night alongside Kemba Walker and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist for the first time this season.  He finished with 45 fantasy points scoring 21 points to go with seven assists, six rebounds, and three blocks.  He is in a great matchup tonight against the Wizards who have allowed more fantasy points to opposing SF than any other team in the NBA.
