High Value PF

Myles Turner-Indiana Pacers (5,600): Turner only played 23 minutes last night against the Hawks finishing with 23.4 fantasy points on 12 points and seven rebounds.  Turner has at least 20 fantasy points in each of his last ten games while breaking out in this his rookie season.  He has posted over 30 fantasy points in five of those games, but has been limited in his last two against Atlanta and Brooklyn.  He’ll look to bounce back tonight against the Pistons as he tangles with Andre Drummond and Ersan Ilyasova up front. ∗∗

Markieff Morris-Phoenix Suns (5,200): Morris started for the Suns against the Rockets on Thursday but only managed 14 points on 4-of-12 shooting.  The Earl Watson-led Suns definitely are going to try and get him the ball often and he’ll have a chance to put up big numbers like he did on Tuesday with 30 points and 54.2 fantasy points. Hopefully other owners will move on from Morris after his last game, but I like him to have a good game tonight even though the Jazz are a tough matchup down low.

Tristan Thompson-Cleveland Cavaliers (4,600): Thompson scored only three points last night against the Celtics but still ended up an OK fantasy option since he had 21 fantasy points thanks to his ten rebounds and two blocks.  He continues to run with the Cavs starters and is a good play tonight against the Pelicans who allow the third-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing centers. Thompson could be in for a heavier workload than usual if Kevin Love is out tonight. No Love-With Love-

Bobby Portis-Chicago Bulls (3,500): Portis played over 20 minutes for the fourth time in his last five games last night helping to fill in for Pau Gasol and notching 23.4 fantasy points in eight points, seven rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  Tonight Gasol’s status is still unclear but it looks like Jimmy Butler could e out meaning the Bulls could be looking for offense.  Portis had enough upside to be a solid play against the T-Wolves, but he will be especially attractive if Gasol is forced to miss tonight’s game as well. With Gasol-∗∗ No Gasol-∗∗
