Now that the Broncos are champions once again, the Denver Post is honoring them properly.

There were a lot of people who doubted the Denver Broncos heading into Super Bowl 50 on Sunday night. However, by the time all was said and done, that amazing defense came through for them once again and they did indeed walk away world champions.

It was one of the better performances that we have seen in Super Bowl history, and now that all the dust has settled, it’s time to start celebrating the winners of Super Bowl 50. As we know, that really all starts with the local newspapers and their headlines.

Immediately following Super Bowl 50, we got a good glimpse of the cover for the Denver Post.

Of course, there was really no one else that you could have put on the front other than Peyton Manning. Yes, the defense did a lot of the work on Sunday once again, but it’s no secret that this was really Manning’s moment in the end. The legend was able to get that second Super Bowl ring  and he deserves all the recognition in the world.

This might be the last time for a while that Manning is on the cover of the Denver Post, and it’s more than fitting that it’s in this way after winning Super Bowl 50.
