Carmelo Anthony-New York Knicks (8,500): Anthony’s availability hasn’t been confirmed this morning but he is expected to play against his former team as the Knicks welcome in the Nuggets.  Anthony hasn’t shot the ball particularly well lately, but he has been productive as a fantasy play due to strong rebounding numbers.  He had at least 40 fantasy points in each of his four games back from his knee injury, but he was forced to sit out again on Friday with issues with the same knee.  Melo should be fired up to take on the Nuggets and lined up for a good game today, so give him a look after confirming he’s ready to suit up.

Danilo Gallinari-Denver Nuggets (6,900): One of the key pieces that the Nuggets got in return for trading Anthony to the Knicks was Danilo Gallinari who will return to the Garden tonight where he still has a strong following.  Gallinari has been playing well with at least 28 fantasy points in six of his last eight including three games over 43 fantasy points during that span. One of those games came Friday against the Bulls when he had 33 points, three boards, two assists, a block, and a steal for a total of 43.75 fantasy points. He’s a bit up-and-down, but he should be able to step up as he returns to his old stomping grounds this afternoon.
