High Value PG

Goran Dragic-Miami Heat (5,700): Dragic had one of his best games of the season on Friday finishing with a well-balanced 12 points, nine assists, right rebounds, and two steals on his way to 39.1 fantasy points. He has at least 21 fantasy points in four of his last five games since returning from injury, and he’s a pretty good value play against Paul and the Clippers especially since the Heat don’t have a great backup for Dragic and his minutes could start to climb after the team lost Tyler Johnson to shoulder surgery.

Emmanuel Mudiay-Denver Nuggets (5,400): Mudiay has been playing well since returning from an ankle injury scoring double-digit points in 11 of his 14 games.  He had a very nice game on Friday with 22 points, five assists, two blocks, and two steals for 35.5 fantasy points. He has at least 20 fantasy points in each of his last five thanks mainly to excellent assist numbers and multiple steals. He has a good matchup tonight against the Knicks and will look to continue his solid rookie season running the Nuggets’ offense.

Darren Collison-Sacramento Kings (4,800): Collison is about the cheapest option to go with this afternoon without a great ultra-cheap option on the board at PG. Collison has scored at least 19 points in four of his last five games and dropped 25 on Brooklyn on Friday on his way to 32.1 fantasy points. He’s an important part of Sacramento’s rotation, but coming off the bench in a crowded backcourt can sometimes leave him with inconsistent minutes.  He should be able to get on the floor today with a smaller lineup a good possibility with Rudy Gay doubtful.  He’s not quite as locked in as Mudiay and Dragic since they’re the team’s primary PG and Collison isn’t, but he’s a good sub-5K value this afternoon.
