WR. Ohio State. Braxton Miller. 24. player. 56.
Remember when Braxton Miller was a two-time Big Ten offensive player of the year as a quarterback? It seems like a lifetime ago, but after a fantastic performance at the Senior Bowl, Miller is now seen by many as a legitimate first-round talent as a wide receiver.

The Bengals need to add some depth and talent at the position to support A.J. Green, and both Marvin Jones and Mohamed Sanu are free agents as 2016 approaches. There are other receivers who are certainly more polished and “safer” than Miller at this point, but there is a local tie-in that helps to make this seem possible, and Miller would bring an interesting dynamic.

Whether this pick makes sense or not is entirely based on your opinion of what Braxton Miller could be as an NFL wide receiver. He, unquestionably, will be able to beat the opposition one-on-one based on his quickness and athleticism, but the intrigue begins with whether he can fit into a system based on route-running and “winning” at the point of the ball when asked to do so.

In Cincinnati, he would always be a secondary option as long as A.J. Green is around, and Miller could thrive in that role.
