Shon Coleman. 31. player. 45.
Regardless of who is playing quarterback for the Denver Broncos in 2016 and beyond, they are going to need some help in pass protection. The Broncos went through approximately 47 offensive linemen (okay, that number is made up) during the course of the 2015 season, and the unit was shaky to put it mildly.

At this point in the draft, it is difficult to be terribly picky, though it must be noted that Denver would probably love to have one of the tackles that is already off the board in this mock. However, Shon Coleman is a very nice prospect that could provide immediate depth and some projectability as a long-term asset.

The 6-foot-6, 315-pound tackle from Auburn encountered some health issues in college that forced him off the football field for nearly three full years. As a result, he is definitely behind the curve when compared to the polish of other tackles in this draft, but Coleman’s raw talent is up there with anyone, and Denver can afford to be patient given that they return some of their injured talent.

The Broncos should probably be in a “best available” mindset given where they are roster-wise, but tackle could be a need and Coleman is a nice player.

.
