6. Pittsburgh Steelers

Wait… you didn’t forget about this guy, did you?

Before he went down in Week 8 with a season-ending torn MCL, Le’Veon Bell was building on a career year in 2014 in which he finished as the NFL’s second leading rusher. Taking into consideration his two-game suspension to start 2015, the star running back only played five full games for the Steelers, and yet this team managed to win 10 games and advance to the divisional round of the playoffs.

Yes, they lost to the Broncos in Denver once they got there, but they were one ill-timed fumble away from traveling to New England for the AFC Championship Game despite the fact they were missing their top wide receiver (Antonio Brown), top two running backs (Bell and DeAngelo Williams), and were utilizing a starting quarterback with a sprained AC joint and torn ligaments in his throwing shoulder.

That’s downright remarkable for any team, and it should give the Steelers and their fans plenty to be excited about as far as 2016 goes. No one should be surprised if Pittsburgh represents their conference in Super Bowl LI next February.
