5. Green Bay Packers

As long as No. 12 is under center, the Green Bay Packers have a chance. That much is indisputably clear after Aaron Rodgers completed not one, not two, but three incredible Hail Mary type of plays this season. No one will forget his desperation heave that nearly hit the rafters in Detroit, and as absurdly awesome as his overtime-forcing bomb to Jeff Janis was against Arizona last week, his 60-yard completion to Janis just seconds earlier while scrambling for his life on 4th-and-20 from his own 4-yard line was equally, if not more so, jaw-droppingly impressive.

There probably isn’t another quarterback on this earth that can do what Rodgers can, and the fact that he did it several times this season just adds to his growing legend as one of the greatest ever.

That said, the Packers have some major problems to address if they want to give Rodgers a crack at a second Super Bowl title. Getting Jordy Nelson back next season will help, but Green Bay could use a reliable third option behind him and Randall Cobb at wide receiver, as Davante Adams is just too inconsistent to be a trusted target. And at running back, presumptive starter Eddie Lacy needs to shed some major weight if he wants to regain his status as one of the best backs in the NFL.
