DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-February 9
High Salary SF
Carmelo Anthony-New York Knicks (8,400): Anthony’s knee has been acting up, and as a result he has missed some games. However, when he’s played he has been pretty good with four double-doubles in a row before his last game when he played 35 minutes and had 21 points, seven assists, and six boards making it to 35 fantasy points for the fifth straight game he has played in. The Wizards allow more fantasy points to opposing SF than any other team in the NBA, so if Anthony is able to go tonight as expected he has a super-high ceiling in what should be a great matchup. The risk you take is more with his health and limited minutes than with his actual production when he’s on the floor. ∗∗
Kawhi Leonard-San Antonio Spurs (7,600): Leonard had his best game in a while on Saturday finishing with 43.75 fantasy points on 20 points and 13 rebounds against the Lakers. Tonight, he’ll have to tangle with the Heat in Miami. It should be a good close game, and Kawhi will probably have to play his full complement of minutes. He has at least 20 points in four of his last five games and is starting to pick his production back up after a brief rough patch. ∗∗∗∗
Gordon Hayward-Utah Jazz (7,300): Hayward had a solid 39.5 fantasy points against the Suns on Saturday on 22 points, six rebounds, three assists, and two blocks. Hayward is a statsheet-stuffer when he’s at his best and he has at least 37 fantasy points in six of his last ten games. He has had a few down games recently, but he is in a good matchup tonight against the Mavs who he lit up for 22 points, seven rebounds, and four assists in their earlier meeting this season. ∗∗∗
Chandler Parsons-Dallas Mavericks (6,300): When he’s on his game, Parsons can contribute across the stat sheet much like Kawhi and Hayward. He had 46 fantasy points on Saturday in Memphis on 26 points, eight rebounds, and four assists. Parsons has at least 30 fantasy points in seven of his last ten games, but he had cooled off a bit before Saturday’s big line. He’s in a tough matchup against Hayward, but if he can get his shot dropping like it was on Saturday (10-15) he could be one of the best options at any price at SF making his sub-7K price tag a pretty attractive one.∗∗∗∗
