FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy hockey lineup February 9th
High Salary RW
Patrick Kane – Chicago Blackhawks ($8,700): Kane is the NHL’s leader in goals (32) and points (76). He is second to Erik Karlsson in assists with 44. Patrick also has the third best plus-minus rating in the league with a +23 rating and is sixth in the league in shots on goal (195). In short, he’s your best DFS option. The Blackhawks star goes against the San Jose Sharks tonight and he averages 5.4 fantasy points per game.
Nikita Kucherov – Tampa Bay Lightning ($7,200): Kucherov has been instrumental behind the Lightning’s recent surge into the playoffs. He now has 21 goals and 24 assists for 45 points this season with 127 shots on goal in 52 games for the Lightning. Even though he just played on Monday, Kucherov is a great option tonight against the Montreal Canadiens. He averages 3.5 fantasy hockey points per game.
High Value RW
Jiri Hudler – Calgary Flames ($5,400): Hudler has struggled this season a bit with seven goals and 21 assists for 28 points in 44 games but he’s been improving as of late. He has a three game point streak and also has points in five of his last six games. Look for Hudler to have a strong night against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Hudler averages 2.1 fantasy hockey points per game.
Kyle Okposo – New York Islanders ($5,800): Okposo had a hat trick in his last game, an 8-1 win over the Oilers on Sunday. He now has five goals and four assists over his last eight games. Kyle has 15 goals and 26 assists for 41 points in 49 games this season for the Islanders. Okposo should build on that tonight against the Columbus Blue Jackets. The Islanders right wing averages 3.2 fantasy hockey points per game.
