High Salary C

Tyler Seguin – Dallas Stars ($7,600): Seguin has three goals in his last three games. He has just four goals and an assist over his last ten games, but expect him to break out of that slump soon because he has 39 shots on goal over his last ten games. Tyler has 28 goals and 28 assists for 56 points with 204 shots on goal this season in 53 games for the Stars. Look for him to have a strong night against the struggling Wild. The Dallas Stars star center averages 4.6 fantasy hockey points per game.

Evgeny Kuznetsov – Washington Capitals ($7,200): Kuznetsov picked up an assist on Sunday against the Flyers. This gives him two goals and 14 assists for 16 points in his last ten games with points in eight of those ten games. Kuzy now has 15 goals and 38 assists for 53 points this season with a plus-minus rating of +25 and 114 shots on goal in 51 games for the Eastern Conference leading Capitals. He averages four fantasy hockey points per game.

John Tavares – New York Islanders ($8,500): Tavares is starting to heat up after a bit of a slow start. He has 19 goals and 21 assists for 40 points this season in 48 games. Unlike last season, he’s not a Hart Trophy contender right now. That could change if he keeps up his current pace. Tavares has points in seven of his last ten games with four goals and seven assists for 11 points. He should do well tonight against the Columbus Blue Jackets. The Islanders center averages 3.5 fantasy hockey points per game.

High Value C

David Krejci – Boston Bruins ($5,600): Krejci has been nearly a point per game player this season with 12 goals and 27 assists for 39 points with 85 shots on goal in 42 games this season for the Bruins. He has a point in seven of his last nine games with three goals and five assists for eight points. Look for Krejci to be a strong value option tonight against the Kings. The Bruins center averages 3.3 fantasy hockey points per game.

Mark Scheifele – Winnipeg Jets ($5,700): The Jets center is currently in the midst of a four game point streak with four assists in his last four games. He also has an assist in five of his last six games and in six of his last ten games. Starting him against the Blues is a bit of a risk, but he’s been playing well lately and has 12 goals and 15 assists for 27 points in 41 games this season. Scheifele averages 3.2 fantasy hockey points per game.
