One trade every NBA team needs to make

Utah Jazz
With Jeff Teague reportedly available, the Jazz need to take this opportunity to go after a new point guard. They are invested in Dante Exum’s bright future once he’s returned and healthy, but even with guys like Trey Burke and Raul Neto, there’s still room for improvement at point.
As Andy Larsen of KSL.com has reported, the Jazz are already interested in Teague:
"It’s real. Multiple league sources say that the Utah Jazz are indeed considering trading for Atlanta Hawks point guard Jeff Teague before February’s trade deadline. While no formal contact has been made between the two sides, the Hawks primary decision maker Mike Budenholzer has a good relationship with both Jazz GM Dennis Lindsey and head coach Quin Snyder from their time together with the Spurs."
In addition to the front office connections Larsen mentioned, the Jazz could make the Hawks an interesting offer if they want to go forward with Dennis Schroder instead of Teague.
In exchange for Teague and Kent Bazemore, the Jazz can offer Alec Burks, Trevor Booker and a 2016 top-1o protected first round draft pick.
Teague was an All-Star just last year and he’s still a highly talented player, meaning that bulking out the trade by adding in Bazemore can bring in a young scorer like Burks and a tough veteran like Booker to help their league-worst rebounding rate. Along with the draft pick, the Hawks get a good return knowing that they have Schroder moving in as the starting point guard anyway.
Meanwhile, the Jazz get an upgrade to run their offense and a 3-and-D threat in Bazemore who’s having the best season of his young career. If the Hawks want to move on from Teague, this trade helps both teams.
