DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-February 10
High Value SG
J.R. Smith-Cleveland Cavaliers (5,800): Smith has scored at least 20 points in three straight games and has at least 27 fantasy points in each of his last five games while averaging 19 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.6 steals. Since the Lakers backcourt defense is a mess, Smith should be a solid play tonight as long as he gets his regular minutes in what could be a rout tonight in Cleveland. ∗∗∗
Evan Turner-Boston Celtics (5,600): The Celtics are on the second night of back-to-back tonight against the Clippers, but I still like Evan Turner who is playing plenty of minutes coming off the bench for the C’s and producing in a variety of categories. Last night in Milwaukee, he struggled with his shot (2-8) but played 30 minutes and finished with six boards, ten assists, and a block still putting together 28.5 fantasy points. He has at least 28 fantasy points in each of his last five games and in eight of his last nine. Turner seems to always be chipping in something and could get expanded playing time tonight with Jae Crowder nursing multiple injuries heading into the break. ∗∗∗
Jamal Crawford-Los Angeles Clippers (5,300): Crawford can be streaky and right now he’s totally rolling with at least 20 points in five straight games. He posted 35.25 fantasy points against the Sixers on Monday and has at least 30 fantasy points of in four of his last five. Crawford is picking up some extra minutes with Austin Rivers out and some extra offense in the continued absence of Blake Griffin. His non-scoring numbers come and go, but he’s piling up so many points right now that he’s worth his salary even in a tough matchup in Boston tonight. ∗∗∗∗
Evan Fournier-Orlando Magic (5,000): Fournier has been great in the two games he has filled in for Tobias Harris. Harris missed both halves of the home-and-home with Atlanta and Fournier played over 42 minutes in both posting 32.25 fantasy points and 32.75 fantasy points. He has at least 30 fantasy points in each of his last three and four of his last six games. If he starts again tonight against the Spurs, he’ll be a good play even though he’ll have to deal with Kawhi Leonard. No Harris-∗∗∗ With Harris-∗
Danny Green-San Antonio Spurs (4,700): Green shot the ball well (6-10) on his way to 36.75 fantasy points last night in Miami and has been playing well overall for San Antonio since Manu Ginobili’s injury. Picking up some of Manu’s minutes, Green has scored at least eight points in each of his last five games and has at least 26 fantasy points in three of his last four games. Green is a very good option again tonight in Orlando although he didn’t do much against them (20.5 fantasy points) when the two teams met last week. He’s starting to find his rhythm, though, and should produce much better numbers tonight. ∗∗∗
Allen Crabbe-Portland Trail Blazers (4,100): Crabbe has been coming off the bench for the Blazers since Damian Lillard returned, but he continues to be a solid contributor. He missed Saturday’s game against the Rockets with the flu, but he had 25.5 fantasy points against Memphis on Monday and looks to be recovered. He should get good time tonight against the small-balling Rockets tonight and has at least 21 fantasy points in four of his last six games which is solid value for his low-4,000’s price tag. ∗∗∗∗
Markel Brown-Brooklyn Nets (3,300): Brown has been outplaying Wayne Ellington in the last few games scoring 15 points and 19 points against the Sixers and Nuggets. He’s the best sub-4K option at SG and one of the better cheap plays tonight regardless of position. Brown has over 24 fantasy points in each of those contests and could be earning more playing time going forward for the Nets who are searching for anyone who can give them some offense from the backcourt. Brown has elite athleticism and plenty of upside, so if he keeps playing over 20 minutes, he’ll be a great value tonight against Memphis. ∗∗
