High Salary SF

Gordon Hayward-Utah Jazz (7,900): Hayward and the Jazz play for the second night in a row on the road as they face the Pelicans tonight after Hayward’s game-winner at the end of overtime got them their seventh straight win. Hayward started slow, but he finished with 20 points in 45 minutes with enough non-scoring stats to get to 33 fantasy points. He has at least 33 fantasy points in seven of his last ten games and is emerging as one of the offensive leaders on this emerging team.  He will look to carry Utah again tonight, and I see him as fairly low-risk tonight although his salary does seem a little high since he only has one game with over 40 fantasy points in his last ten contests.

Kawhi Leonard-San Antonio Spurs (7,300): Leonard continues to step up his game over the last couple of weeks with at least 20 points in five of his last six games and posted 23 points, nine boards, four assists, and three steals in his 33 minutes in Miami last night finishing with 44.8 fantasy points. He has at least 40 fantasy points in back-t0-back games now, and he has at least 37 fantasy points in three of his last four.  He had a very quiet game against Orlando a week ago Monday with just 23 fantasy points, but I expect much more from him tonight as the Spurs look to keep their roll going into the All-Star break..

Danilo Gallinari-Denver Nuggets (7,200): Gallinari had a big game against Brooklyn on Monday dropping 24 points to go with seven assists and three rebounds for an impressive 41.1 fantasy points. He has at least 40 fantasy points in two of his last three and in four of his last ten.  Gallo has been a little inconsistent lately, but he has an extremely high ceiling and he lit up the Pistons when he faced them earlier this season.  In that game, Gallinari had 30 points, six rebounds, and two assists, and he’s the only one of my three high-salary SF options who isn’t on the second night of a back-to-back.
