DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy hockey lineup February 11th
High Salary Centers
Joe Pavelski – San Jose Sharks ($7,900): Pavelski has been playing very well lately and is arguably your best option at center. Over his last ten games, Pavelski has four goals and seven assists for 11 points while averaging three shots on goal per game. The Sharks center has averaged 4.8 fantasy points per game over his last ten games. He has 26 goals and 28 points for 54 points in 54 games. Pavelski goes against the Flames who rank 23rd in the league going against centers. Joe averages 4.3 fantasy hockey points per game.
Evgeny Kuznetsov – Washington Capitals ($6,500): Forget that Kuznetsov is going against the Wild who have done quite well against centers (12th in opponent ranking against centers). Kuznetsov is so hot right now that it doesn’t matter who he’s playing. Evgeny has a goal and 13 assists for 14 points over his last ten games and has a point in eight of those ten games. He currently owns a three game point streak while leading the Caps in points with 55 (16 goals and 39 assists). Kuznetsov averages 3.7 fantasy hockey points per game.
Patrice Bergeron – Boston Bruins ($7,200): Bergeron might only have four points in his last ten games but he is going against the Winnipeg Jets, who are the worst team against centers. He’s simply too good to stay in a slump for that long. Patrice has still averaged 2.8 fantasy hockey points over his last ten games even while only getting four points (a goal and three assists). Over the season, Bergeron has 19 goals and 26 assists for 45 points in 55 games while averaging 4.1 fantasy hockey points per game.
High Value Centers
Ryan Getzlaf – Anaheim Ducks ($5,700): Your best fantasy hockey option at center might be the Ducks captain. He faces a favorable matchup tonight with the Blue Jackets ranking 28th against centers. Getzlaf has two goals and 10 assists for 12 points with a plus-minus rating of +12 over his last ten games while averaging four fantasy points per game. He wins you face-offs as well. The Ducks center has averaged 2.9 fantasy hockey points per game over the season and has 38 points in 48 games.
Carl Soderberg – Colorado Avalanche ($4,900): Soderberg is a great value option for your fantasy lineup tonight. He goes against the Ottawa Senators who are 29th against centers. Carl has eight points over his last ten games while averaging 3.4 fantasy hockey points per game. The Avalanche center has 11 goals and 27 assists for 38 points in 56 games while averaging three fantasy points per game.
Marcus Johansson – Washington Capitals ($4,400): Johansson has been amazing since he has taken over the third line center role for the injured Jay Beagle. He has 11 points (six goals and five assists) over his last ten games, each of them as the third line center. MoJo now has 14 goals and 19 assists for 33 points in 45 games this season and he averages 2.7 fantasy hockey points per game.
