High Salary Left Wings

Alex Ovechkin – Washington Capitals ($9,500): Ovechkin has 31 goals and 14 assists for 45 points with 251 shots on goal this season in 50 games for the Eastern Conference leading Capitals. He goes tonight against the Wild having scored seven goals in his last ten games. Look for him to have a very strong night tonight against a struggling Wild team. He averages 5.2 fantasy hockey points per game.

Brad Marchand – Boston Bruins ($7,800): As hot as Ovechkin has been with seven goals in ten games, Marchand has 10 goals in his last 10 games. He goes tonight against a struggling Jets team and has a better matchup than Ovechkin. Marchand has 25 goals and 12 assists this season for 37 points in 48 games. The Bruins forward averages 4.1 fantasy points per game.

Artemi Panarin – Chicago Blackhawks ($6,400): Panarin has been the best rookie in the NHL this season with 18 goals and 34 assists for 52 points in 56 games. Over his last ten games, Panarin has 13 points (three goals and 10 assists). Panarin goes tonight against the Dallas Stars in what should be a high scoring affair. The Blackhawks left wing averages 3.5 fantasy hockey points per game.

High Value Left Wings

Andre Burakovsky – Washington Capitals ($4,900): Burakovsky has been the hottest player for the Capitals as of late. He’s riding an eight game point streak and has at least one point in nine of his last ten games. Over his last ten games, Andre has six goals and six assists for 12 points. Burakovsky faces the struggling Minnesota Wild tonight and looks to increase his point streak to nine games. He averages 1.9 fantasy hockey points per game.

David Perron – Anaheim Ducks ($4,900): While Perron has been held pointless in each of his last three outings, he could still be a huge value tonight going against the weak Columbus Blue Jackets. Perron has three goals and five assists for eight points in nine games since joining the Ducks. Look for him to do well tonight against the last place Blue Jackets. He averages 3.8 fantasy hockey points per game.

Loui Eriksson – Boston Bruins ($4,500): Looking for a huge potential value tonight? Loui Eriksson could be your man. He has been struggling lately with just a goal and two assists for three points over his last ten games but he still has 16 goals and 24 assists for 40 points over the season for the Bruins. Eriksson faces a favorable matchup tonight against the Jets. Look for him to capitalize on it. The Bruins forward averages three fantasy hockey points per game.
