High Salary Centers

Anze Kopitar – Los Angeles Kings ($7,600): Kopitar has been excellent lately for the Kings with a goal and 10 assists for 11 points over his last 10 games. Anze now has 13 goals and 34 assists for 47 points with a plus-minus rating of +20 in 53 games this season. Look for him to remain hot tonight against the Rangers. The Kings center averages 3.4 fantasy hockey points per game.

Sidney Crosby – Pittsburgh Penguins ($10,200): Crosby’s point streak came to an end against the Rangers, but Crosby didn’t play poorly. He set up scoring chances for his teammates all game long but they couldn’t finish them. Look for Crosby to start a new streak tonight against the Hurricanes. He has 12 goals and seven assists for 19 points over his last ten games and 53 points in 52 games overall. The Penguins center averages 4.1 fantasy hockey points per game.

Ryan Johansen – Nashville Predators ($7,200): Johansen is currently riding a three game point streak. During that streak, he has a goal and four assists for five points. He also has at least one point in four of his last five games and in five of his last seven. Johansen has 15 points in 14 games with the Predators as he goes against the Lightning tonight. The Predators center averages 4.3 fantasy points per game.

High Value Centers

Victor Rask – Carolina Hurricanes ($4,800): Rask has been a gem for the Hurricanes this season with 12 goals and 19 assists for 31 points in 52 games. He has a goal and two assists over his last five games and has five points over his last ten games. The Hurricanes center averages 2.4 fantasy hockey points per game.

Ryan O’Reilly – Buffalo Sabres ($4,500): O’Reilly is always a solid fantasy value. He has 17 goals and 28 assists for 45 points this season in 55 games. Don’t mind his plus-minus rating of -19 because that’s largely due to the Sabres goaltending being terrible over the past 12 games. He had five assists in his previous four games before being held pointless against the Flyers. The Sabres center averages 2.7 fantasy points per game.
