The Titans have only a few free agents this offseason, which could be a good thing if it weren’t for the fact the players they do have managed just three wins this past season. Even so, there will be some players that the team may have to say goodbye to this offseason.

One such player could be Al Woods, the nose tackle who started nine games for Tennessee and recorded 22 total sacks from the middle of the defensive line. Woods was originally drafted in the fourth round out of LSU by the New Orleans Saints, but never played a regular season game for them.

He found a home in Tennessee these past two seasons after moving around between four different NFL franchises. With the defender set to turn 29 next month, the Titans may decide to go young at the position, possibly through the draft, which could lead to Woods having to say goodbye.

Another solid defender set to test the market is inside linebacker Zach Brown. The 26-year old from North Carolina was third on the team with 77 tackles in 2015. He also added two interceptions and may have shown enough to justify someone throwing a large chunk of money his way.

With the defense being the strength of the team, Tennessee may decide it’s more financially prudent to let Brown walk and spend that money on some playmaking help for Mariota.
