Ben Jones, Center Houston Texans

The Titans may end up with Laremy Tunsil from Ole Miss with their first-overall selection, and the big blindside protector will do wonders for keeping Mariota clean in the pocket. The speedy quarterback missed four games during his rookie campaign, and keeping him on the field is imperative to their success, so the pick of Tunsil (assuming it is made) may not be enough.

The Titans can look to former Georgia Bulldogs center, Ben Jones to help protect their franchise passer as well. Jones was selected in the fourth round by the Houston Texans and has been a starter since about midway through his rookie season of 2012, although until this past season he had spent all his time at guard.

When the Texans released veteran center Chris Myers before the season, they shifted Jones to the middle of the offensive line and he held up very well for a unit that was devastated by injuries.

Now set to be a free agent, Jones may find it worth his while to see what other teams think about offering him a good deal to man the middle of their line. If Jones does decide to stay put with the team who drafted him, the Jacksonville Jaguars starting center Stefen Wisniewski is also set to be a free agent and could be worth a look as well.
