Draft overview

The Titans will kick off the festivities this April when the 2016 NFL Draft takes place. The majority of mock drafts have them taking Ole Miss left tackle Laremy Tunsil, which would be a great selection as previously mentioned. There is always the option of trading down and stockpiling picks, which could help a depleted roster. With so many quarterback needy teams, someone may be willing to get ahead of the pack and snatch up a signal caller they feel they can’t live without.

As it currently stands, here are the selections owned by the Titans.

  • Round 1 – Pick 1
  • Round 2 – Pick 2
  • Round 3 – Pick 1
  • Round 4 – Pick 2
  • Round 5 – Pick 1
  • Round 6 – Pick 2
  • Round 6 – Pick 18
  • Round 7 – Pick 1

Outside of offensive line some other positions of need would include wide receiver, where the best players on the roster currently came in under 40 receptions on the year. They also could stand to add a young tight end as starter Delanie Walker will turn 32 before the season starts.

Defensively, the Titans could definitely use some more pass rushing help and a young, stout nose tackle would also be extremely welcome.
