3. Golden State Warriors

The 2015-2016 Golden State Warriors currently have 48 wins and four losses, and are making the game look easy. Stephen Curry is following up his MVP season with an even better year and it seems like the sky is the limit for this years Warriors. Head Coach Steve Kerr and Assistant-coach Luke Walton have done a tremendous job with the Warriors and from a fan’s perspective it seems as if every player has bought into the system. The Warriors are the most exciting team to watch in the NBA and have very few weaknesses. From a personnel standpoint, an upgrade at center and small forward would make them even better, but that would be nitpicking – both Andrew Bogut and Harrison Barnes are at least average NBA players at their respective positions.

Golden State doesn’t have much need for an aging star, but then again the idea of Kobe Bryant suiting up for the Warriors and playing alongside Curry in the NBA Finals would further excite fans around the world. Coach Kerr wouldn’t have too much trouble finding minutes for Kobe, especially down the stretch when the Warriors have the No. 1 playoff seed locked up and are looking to rest their starters. 2015 first-round draft pick Kevin Looney out of UCLA has the youth, athleticism, and upside the Lakers are searching for and could be a good option in a straight-swap trade should the Warriors want to bring Kobe aboard.
