High Salary Goalies

Semyon Varlamov – Colorado Avalanche ($8,000): Varlamov is a fantastic option tonight going against the Sabres who rank 28th against goaltenders this season. He has been quite good this season with 21 wins in 39 appearances and a .917 save percentage with a GAA of 2.64. Over his last ten games, he has a save percentage of .930 with six wins and a GAA of 2.51 while averaging 5.7 fantasy hockey points per game during that span. Varlamov faces the Sabres on the road today. He has allowed just two goals per game on the road this season.

Henrik Lundqvist – New York Rangers ($8,300): Lundqvist has been unbelievable in net lately for the boys in blue. Over his late ten games, King Henrik has eight wins with a save percentage of .935 and has allowed just 1.77 goals against per game. That’s good for a 6.2 fantasy points per game average. He goes tonight against the Flyers who rank 30th against goalies this season.

Tuukka Rask – Boston Bruins ($8,400): Rask has been doing well as of late if you take away that horrible outing against the Kings. Over his last ten games, Rask has averaged 5.2 fantasy points per game with a .922 save percentage. He goes today against the Red Wings who rank 13th against goalies this season.

Steve Mason – Philadelphia Flyers ($7,600): Mason has been doing well lately for the Flyers. He has averaged 4.3 fantasy hockey points per game over his last ten games with a .925 save percentage and a 2.53 GAA. The Flyers goalie goes tonight against the Rangers.
