With the Cleveland Cavaliers reportedly willing to move Iman Shumpert, these are the five teams that should acquire him.

The NBA trade deadline is on Thursday, and the Cleveland Cavaliers have been involved in plenty of trade rumors leading up to the big day. The Cavaliers are looking to continue to bolster their roster as they get ready to make a run at another NBA Finals.

While Kevin Love has been the target of most of the rumors surrounding the Cavaliers, there are other players on the roster that could be moved at the deadline. The Cavaliers could be looking to swap out some of their rotational players for help in other areas.

According to ESPN’s Marc Stein, guard Iman Shumpert could be one of the players that the Cavaliers look to move at the deadline. Shumpert is in the middle of a down season and will certainly be a tough player to move with his contract having $31 million remaining on it after this season.

However, Shumpert is still a young player that teams see as a valuable rotational player that can provide defense. Perhaps getting out of the shadow of Cleveland and a change of scenery will allow him to see an uptick in his performance again.

Should the Cavaliers indeed be willing to move Shumpert, these five destinations could be perfect for him.
