2. Orlando Magic

The Cleveland Cavaliers are going to need another shooter off the bench come playoff time and a veteran at that. If they wanted to go after a piece that could be easily had, the Cavaliers should take a look at Channing Frye from the Orlando Magic.

Frye is a great veteran voice in the locker room and he can also knock down the three. He would give the Cavaliers another player up front that could knock down the big shot besides Kevin Love and he could do wonders for the rotation, as he can slot in at the four or the five.

The Magic are trying to take that next stop and make the playoffs, but they could also be looking to move some of their pieces for players that fit their roster. If they do decide to move Victor Oladipo at the trade deadline, Shumpert could fill the defensive void in the back court.

At 25 years old, Shumpert is still a young player in this league and could be a very nice rotation option for the Magic. Him and Frye have comparative deals so it could be a straight swap of contracts between the two sides.

It’s a deal that makes sense for both sides and it gives each other what they need going forward.
