Blake Griffin apologizes for punching Clippers trainer
By Jack Crosby
Blake Griffin spoke to the media on Tuesday and he apologized for the incident that led to his broken hand.
Blake Griffin has been a big part of NBA news recently, not just because he’s been added in with Los Angeles Clippers trade talks, but also for the incident that led to the broken hand that will be keeping him out a while. A few weeks ago it was revealed that Griffin suffered the broken hand following a scuffle with a team trainer that also happened to be a close friend of his.
Now since the incident and the reveal of what actually happened, we haven’t heard from the Clipper star. Mainly the only news we’ve gotten on his front are leaked pictures of the hand after surgery to repair it.
On Tuesday, though, that all changed as Griffin spoke to the media for the first time, and as you’d expect, he was pretty apologetic about it all.
Now kind of swinging back to the trade part for a moment, as part of this media session on Tuesday head coach Doc Rivers let everyone know that the team will not be dealing the forward before Thursday’s deadline.
As for the apology, well, this was a step in the right direction in regards to putting all of this embarrassment behind him and the team as well.
