High Salary Goalies

Cory Schneider – New Jersey Devils ($8,300): Schneider has been the reason that the Devils are contenders this season. He has placed himself in the Vezina Trophy discussion and might even wind up winning it if the Devils make the playoffs. Schneider has a .930 save percentage while allowing just over two goals per game this season and in his last ten games, he has a 1.95 GAA and a .935 save percentage. Cory goes tonight against the Flyers. The Devils netminder averages five fantasy hockey points per game.

Brian Elliott – St. Louis Blues ($8,400): Elliott would be getting a lot more attention as a Vezina candidate if he could manage to get the starting job in St. Louis. Judging by his numbers, it is mind boggling that he hasn’t won it yet and the only reason he has it is because Jake Allen is injured. Brian has a 14-7-6 record this season with a 2.07 GAA and a .933 save percentage. Elliott has a .953 save percentage over his last ten games. Even going against the Stars tonight, he’s a great option. The Blues netminder averages 4.8 fantasy hockey points per game (including 6.7 per game over his last ten games).

Craig Anderson – Ottawa Senators ($7,800): Looking for a goalie with the most favorable matchup tonight? That is most likely Anderson, who faces the Buffalo Sabres. Craig has been solid for Ottawa this season with a .915 save percentage. He averages 4.8 fantasy hockey points per game.

High Value Goalies

Joonas Korpisalo – Columbus Blue Jackets ($7,100): Korpisalo has been doing phenomenal this season while replacing the injured Sergei Bobrovsky. Over his last ten games, Joonas has a .932 save percentage and has allowed just 2.26 goals against per game while averaging 5.6 fantasy hockey points per game. He goes tonight against the Boston Bruins.
